Additional Deputy Commissioner-II Shaukat Ujjan raided a factory in the Industrial Area Kotri and found 5,000 bags of sugar. The additional deputy commissioner -II sealed the factory. In another raid, ADC-II conducted a raid at another factory in Kotri Town and seized 60,000 bags of sugar. Talking to the media, Shaukat Ujjan said that factories were sealed and all sugar bags would be distributed among the poor at government fixed rate. He said that raids at factories were conducted after receiving secrete information. Meanwhile, Dadu Assistant Commissioner Mohmad Ali Baloch raided different places and shops in city and seized 500 bags of sugar and 800 bags of flour. The assistant commissioner also imposed a fine of Rs 29,000 on the shopkeepers for selling sugar and flour on high rates.
