ISLAMABAD: 17 lawmakers attended the Sindh Assembly sessions despite the fact that Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) suspended their membership.
ECP suspended 17 members of the Sindh Assembly for not submitting their income tax returns. The suspended members include Nusrat Sehar Abbasi, Mukesh Kumar Chawla, Javed Nagori, Ghazala Sial and others. But, regardless of their suspension, they regularly attend assembly sessions and getting salaries.
