KARACHI: Two people, including a woman, were killed while five others were injured after an ill maintained building of a house collapsed in Clifton, Karachi.
The broken down building suddenly collapsed in Neelam Colony, Clifton, resulting in the instant death of two people and causing injuries to five others. The injured were swiftly pulled out from under the debris as a result of the collaborative efforts of the Rescue 1122 and the locals.
The injured were shifted to nearby hospitals for further treatment.
The deceased were identified as Azeem Sadiq and Zeenat Bibi, while the injured were identified as Amir, Saleem, Shabana, eight-year-old Danial and six-year-old Anthony.
